Presented by John Blumberg, NBTA Director and NBTA Certified in Civil Trial Law.  This webinar will focus on legal malpractice and medical malpractice. The newest NBTA specialty certifications are Medical and Legal Professional Liability. Applications will become available in 2027. While both share similarities in the required elements of negligence, there are differences and complexities that every civil practitioner should know about. Newer civil practitioners will benefit by learning what to look for during the case intake and evaluation process. Experienced practitioners will sharpen their skills in representing clients with professional liability claims. The closing segment on legal malpractice turns the lens around and focuses on preventing our own legal malpractice and what to do if we become the defendant.
